Mike KniggeHello, I am Mike Knigge Welcome to Rapid City, South Dakota (Home of MOUNT RUSHMORE). Many of you already know me because I have lived in Rapid City most of my life. As a teenager I worked in almost every restaurant (all 3) in what was then a small town. When I gradated from high school I decided to join the Marine Corp?, I was a CH46 helicopter mechanic, and was honorable discharged with the rank of Sergeant. I came back to Rapid City and worked at The Furniture Revival repairing antiques for 5 years. I decided to use the college benefits I earned in the military so I went to school by day, and worked night shift at Control Data.

I learned how to draft and design on computers. I worked 2 years at Anderson Mill. Then finally, a call from Riss Brothers!!!! This company had been in business 65 years, and had an excellent reputation for building "the best quality cabinetry around". I started out building, staining, finishing, installing, and worked my way up to selling, and designing custom cabinetry. I worked there for 13 years until the Risses decided to sell their business to a larger company that made motel furniture (no more custom cabinetry).

I decided to start my own business, designing , and installing Weyer Creations Custom Cabinetry. The Weyer are without a doubt "exceptional craftsmen", which makes their cabinetry easy to sell. "We are making a name for ourselves as "the best custom cabinetry around". I love what I do!!! I have made so many new friends that are very happy with their new WEYER CREATIONS custom cabinetry.

I did, but have chosen not to, sell stock cabinetry.I will not sell them in a house, not in the rain, I will not sell them here, or there,I will not sell them anywhere. I do not like them Sam I am. (Remember Green Eggs and Ham)I have a drafting program that is very impressive. I measure, design, draw, and bid not only kitchens, but any custom cabinetry you can think up. I will provide you with a bid, and several 3-D drawings "I charge for design work". a fee of $212.00 (tax included). This fee is to come to your home, measure, 7 hours of design work, and quote your job. If you have a larger job I charge an hourly rate of $35.00 over the 7 hours estimated. If you buy WEYER CREATIONS CUSTOM CABINETRY that fee will go towards the purchase. If you take my drawing to another cabinet supplier, that cabinet supplier will take responsibility for the final measurements.

Designs on line Now that I have this website I am getting a ton of people requesting help designing their next cabinet project. Problem is - these request are a long way from my home. In the past, if I could not measure or supply the cabinetry, then. I just said no. I am changing my way of thinking. Most people that contact me say they love my site and really would like my help. I realize it is very difficulty to visualize just what your new kitchen, bath, or bar will look like. I will help you !! I have an awesome drafting program!! I can design your kitchen, bath, or bar. I will send you an email (pick and click on computer drawing from the list on the left to see examples) with several colored 3-D images for a fee of $135.00 (tax included). This fee is for 4 hours of design time. If you have a larger job I charge an hourly rate of $35.00 over the 4 hours estimated. You will be able to print, and take these drawing to a cabinet supplier of your choice. That cabinet supplier will need to take responsibility for the final measurements. I will work to make your kitchen, bar, entertainment center, etc. a beautiful addition to your home that you will enjoy for many years. The Weyer brothers will build, stain, and finish your Custom Cabinetry. Installation is a group effort in which we all participate and take great pride. We all love to watch it come together. Remember.. you don't really have a custom home, unless you have "CUSTOM CABINETRY". "Thanks you" everybody for making the last 6 years "great years". Please look thru my website, and give me a chance to bid your next project.Thank You Mike Knigge
